Last one
If this were my shop, I would do this on Monday
My brother and I run Able Rooter. We built ServicePlumber because we were tired of paying for a website that sat there, and tired of software that wanted a huge check before the desk even turned on. If I were looking at this as a shop owner, I would stop reading and do three things.
Open the demo
Give it three minutes. It is a sample shop. No card. Nothing gets sent.
Look for your own week. Customers. The job you were just on. A price you would say out loud. A lead that still needs a call. If you do not see your week in there, do not buy it. Close the tab.
Name the plan before the call
Do not pick the big one because it sounds serious.
Good if you will connect the accounts yourself. Up to 3 people. First bill, if you go ahead, is $1,296. That is $998 to start and $298 for the month.
Better if the website and the lead forms are already there and you want them hooked up. Up to 5 people. First bill is $3,696.
Best if you need the website built. Up to 10 people. First bill is $6,496.
The plan guide is the longer version. The year-one guide is the full bill. You do not have to read them first.
Ask for the call
The form is not a purchase. No credit card. No charge that day. We call, confirm the shop and the plan, and then we arrange payment. If the scope is wrong, say so on the call.
That is the whole path. Demo. Plan. Call. Then the work.
What I would not do
I would not pay about $45,000 to turn a desk on. I would not pay a coach a couple thousand a month and still be the one answering, pricing, and chasing the review. I would not launch a website and then forget it until the phone gets quiet.
If you run a lot of locations and you need inventory and a dispatch board for a big fleet, this is the wrong tool. Buy the big desk. I would rather you do that than buy a plan you will outgrow in a month.
Monday can be short.
Look. Then ask for the call if it fits.
