The website

I got tired of a website that just sat there

Most plumbing websites are a sign. You pay someone to put it up. Then it stays like that.

My brother and I run Able Rooter. We had that kind of site. A page would break. A town we work in every week had no page of its own. Google would get quiet, and we would not know until the phone did too. Then you pay somebody to go look. That always felt backwards.

ServicePlumber is the desk we wanted instead. It does three things a sign does not do. It looks. It uses the job you already finished. And it fixes the breaks that happen the same way every time.

You still read a page before it goes up. I do not want a machine posting things I would not say to a customer.

A normal site just waits

Somebody writes a few pages. Home, about, services, contact. Maybe one city, if you asked.

Then nothing. An old button goes to a dead page. A title is missing, so Google shrugs. Two pages say the same thing. You find out months later, when the calls slow down.

It looks

Search sits next to the jobs. You can see what people typed, and whether you moved up or down in the last week.

There is also a check on the page itself. Did it load. Is there a title. Did it turn into an error page. Did it tell Google to skip it.

I would rather see that on the desk than hear it from a customer who could not find us.

It uses the job you already did

You finished the call. You know the service, the city, and what you found. That is already a page. The desk can draft it. The next city you actually work in can get the same kind of page. Not a fake page for a town you never drive to.

Good comes with 25 drafts a month. Better comes with 50. Best is a site of up to 12 pages, and up to 8 articles a month that a person reviews. You still read the draft. If I would not say it in the driveway, it does not go on the site.

It fixes the usual breaks

Some problems show up over and over. An old link should point at the new page. A second copy of a page should not sit next to the real one. A city page with the wrong piece can be repaired.

The desk can do those. It will not invent a job you did not do. It will not put words up that nobody checked.

You still run the shop

The site does not answer the phone. You do. The change is that the website stops being something you forget until the work dries up.

See it on a sample shop.

The demo is sample data. No card. If you are choosing a plan, this page is the short version.
